Terms of Service

Last updated 27 August 2026. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using any ENGcore tool (CableGrid, Protection Studies, Grid Code Check, ATEX Pathway, Sound Barrier, Pipeline, or CDM Compliance), you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where you sign up under an organisation, on behalf of that organisation.

2. What ENGcore is

ENGcore provides preliminary engineering and compliance calculators. It is not a substitute for review by a competent person, and it does not replace licensed standards, project-specific site data, or professional sign-off.

Preliminary engineering and compliance aids. Results require review by a competent person against licensed standards and project-specific conditions.

3. Accounts and subscriptions

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your sign-in access secure. Subscriptions renew on the cycle shown at checkout unless cancelled beforehand; cancelling stops the next renewal but does not refund the current period unless required by law.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use ENGcore to generate a result you present as independently verified when it isn't;
  • attempt to bypass account, organisation, or usage limits;
  • reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell access to the underlying calculators; or
  • use the service for anything unlawful under the law of England and Wales.

5. Intellectual property

ENGcore, its design system, and the underlying calculation logic remain our property. You retain ownership of the project data you input and the exports you generate from it.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

ENGcore is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these terms, including non-payment or acceptable-use violations. You can stop using ENGcore and cancel your subscription at any time.

8. Changes to these terms

We'll update the date at the top of this page when these terms change, and tell active organisations directly ahead of any change that materially affects their use of the service.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
